In order to create an advertising proposal, I need to gather information about the company that makes the product, where it want to advertise, what it wants the advertising to achieve and how much it has to spend.

The advertising budget for my campaign is £100,000; this is because the brand Magic has just started out. The advert is going to feature a shoe.

The advert should make potential customers interested in our brand and it’s products. By putting adverts on billboards and in magazines will attract customers who otherwise would probably be unfamiliar with the brand.

The type of advertising that would suit my campaign is probably newspaper/ magazine advertising because the product we’re selling is shoe and so our target audience are women under the age of 40.

The advert should be simple and elegant. All it would feature is a shoe against a light/ grey background and then the brand name and website address would appear in the ad. In order to try and get more customers the ad won’t feature the price because if customers like the shoe they’ll go online and look at our other products. The ads will feature a range of 5 shoes so customers don’t get board of seeing the same shoe. The shoe will range from sandals to boots.

The target audience is younger women, Therefore our adverts should feature in magazines such as heat or closer instead of Take a Break because women who read closer or heat are more likely to be younger and interested in fashion. The age range is under 40 and aimed at women earning over £25,000 a year.
